Meet Kristina

Immigrant. Councilmember. Mother. Fighter for the 47th.

Kristina Soltys came to America from Ukraine when she was five years old. She chose Covington as her home nearly twenty years ago and has served on the City Council since 2019, when she won 64% of the vote against a 14-year incumbent and was re-elected uncontested in 2023. Six years of real work on public safety, roads, and fiscal responsibility have prepared her to bring that same community-first approach from the council table to Olympia.

Olympia just passed a new state income tax. Today it targets high earners. Tomorrow it becomes the foundation for taxing everyone.

Kristina opposes any state income tax and believes residents should decide whether it stands.

Cost of Living

A new gas tax, rising property assessments, and a long-term care payroll tax have hit South King County families all at once.

Kristina will bring a taxpayer-first standard to every vote in Olympia.

Public Safety

SR-516 has a completed improvement study with zero state funding behind it. Meanwhile traffic keeps getting worse.
