Meet Kristina

Immigrant. Councilmember. Mother. Fighter for the 47th.

Kristina Soltys came to America from Ukraine when she was five years old. She chose Covington as her home nearly twenty years ago and has served on the City Council since 2019, when she won 64% of the vote against a 14-year incumbent and was re-elected uncontested in 2023. Six years of real work on public safety, roads, and fiscal responsibility have prepared her to bring that same community-first approach from the council table to Olympia.

As a longtime Covington resident and mother of three, Kristina understands what South King County families face every day. She is running for State Senate because the 47th District deserves a senator who has been doing the work, not just talking about it.[read more]
